After careful analysis and evaluations, on April 30th 2020 ETHICA Consulting S.p.A signed an agreement for the sale of its controlled company Concert S.r.l. to Avanade, a company of the Accenture Group which is world leader in the supply of innovative digital services on the Microsoft platform.
Born in 2016 from the merge of resources and skills of EOS Solutions Group and ETHICA Consulting Group with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics AX and 365 FO, Concert quickly became a reference for the Italian market and for international groups.
In four years great challenges have been faced and great successes have been achieved managing carefully the growth of the business and stabilizing the organization, always investing in software innovation and in enterprise knowledge.
ETHICA, as major shareholder, is proud of the results achieved by Concert in difficult years and likes to tank the Directors and all the staff for their great professional and human contribution which made Concert special and admired.
But the transformation and the globalization of IT market is asking operators to face the uncertainties of the future looking for alternative growth paths, able to aggregate forces and to disclose new horizons for the business.
The union with Avanade represents a great opportunity for Concert, the best way to give continuity to growth and success: it is truly the case of two highly complementary leaders who come together to be better building the largest IT operator in Italy on the Microsoft platform.
“ETHICA members always felt strong responsibility towards the people and customers of the group and would have never take this decision without the full belief that it was the best choice for Concert in these times and in this market” commented Ilio Sanguin.
The sale of Concert is part of a design of simplification and of refocusing of the ETHICA Group to better respond to the challenges of the new course of business applications.
In fact in the last months of 2019 ETHICA also closed the acquisition of 20% of Espedia, shares held by Engineering PLM Solutions, and sold its participation in Datalab.
ETHICA Group remains strong in its principles and values, open to the best technologies and synergies, focused on the SAP platform which has always been its main business and where it wants to maintain excellence and leadership.
